I gave in to the Color Wow Dream Coat hype — and regretted it

After more than a month of regular use, the Color Wow Dream Coat delivered no visible or sensory results. Watery texture, zero real effect.

Color Wow Dream Coat Supernatural Spray

I bought this spray because it was everywhere — one of those products that keeps showing up until you finally cave. I wanted to see what all the fuss was about.

I used it for over a month, always after washing my hair. My routine isn't super fixed, so I just used it whenever I needed to. And somewhere along the way I realized I wasn't feeling anything different at all. I kept going because I wanted to give it a real shot — I didn't want to write it off too quickly. But the result was the same from start to finish: nothing.

The texture is basically water. No scent, no sensation on the hair, no visible change whatsoever. It genuinely feels like you're spritzing plain water on your head — and that's what disappointed me most, because people rave about this stuff so much that I was at least expecting something. A bit of smoothness, a hint of shine, anything. I couldn't identify a single benefit.

I didn't finish the bottle. I don't see myself finishing it.

For my hair, this product did absolutely nothing. It might work differently on another hair type — I can't say for sure. But I wouldn't repurchase it, and I wouldn't recommend it, at least not with the kind of confidence the people hyping it online seem to have.
