SKIN1004 Hyalu-Cica: the sunscreen that surprised me
Hours at the beach, strong sun, and sea. My skin didn't look worn out. The SKIN1004 sunscreen passed a test that very few sunscreens could handle.
I chose this sunscreen mainly because of SKIN1004's reputation in the Korean market. It's a brand that keeps coming up when you look into quality Korean skincare, so when I came across this sunscreen I decided to give it a try.
I used it during my vacation in Italy, making the most of the European summer, and I spent a lot of time at the beach. I'd spend hours in the water with constant sun exposure — the kind of situation that pushes any sunscreen to its limits. What struck me most was that, after all of that, my skin didn't look like it had been in the sun for hours. I can't quite put it into words, but it was the kind of result I wasn't used to getting from other sunscreens. Usually your skin gives away a day at the beach. Here, it didn't.
The texture is nice and it spreads easily. It leaves no white cast, which is already a dealbreaker for me with a lot of other products. I wore it on its own, without foundation or any makeup on top, so I didn't test it as a base.
I've been using it for over a month now and I genuinely have no complaints. I think for anyone who spends a lot of time outdoors or wants a sunscreen that actually does what it says without leaving a heavy layer on the skin, this one works well. I'd definitely recommend it.
